Tool for import and animation of vector graphics in MATLAB
Šustáček, Daniel ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a tool for the import and animation of vector graphics SVG in MATLAB. The first part of the thesis deals with the means of importing the SVG format into the MATLAB environment and the subsequent principles of rendering individual SVG elements. The second part explains the design of a tool for animating the movement of mechanisms in the plane defined in the SVG format.
Využití open-source programů pro tvorbu výrobků na 3D tiskárně a hobby CNC zařízení
MALÝ, Tomáš
The bachelor's work focuses on the use of open-source programs in the creation of hobby CNC and 3D printers. The work contains a description of individual programs. The possibilities of the programs, the detailed process of creation and the subsequent demonstration are mentioned.
Use of Open Source platforms in education in the field of Graphic Design
Lukáš, David ; Jeřábek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Štípek, Jiří (referee)
This diploma work is fokused on the opportunities of using the Open Source Programmes in the lessons at secondary vocational schools according to Graphic Design as a branch of study. In the theoretical part are basic terms explained and reachable educational sources and matherials including graphic editor work noticed . There are described the special signs of the Graphic design branch in a context with the secondary vocational school and the goals of education defined inside RVP (Frame Educational Plan). It speaks about the claims, their availability and the chance of their using as a legal area where are needed skills and experiences for students and their work aplication adopted. The practical part is dedicated to the survey of the ways of possible work in graphic editors and opportunities of using alternative graphic editors at each secondary school offering Graphic design as a branch of study. It includes time analysis of the vocational subjects defined in the School Educational Programme, questioner's investigation and interviews with the teachers. The situation in a real practice also with interviews with professionals and exployers are examined there too. We can find many problematic moments connected with the aplication of alternative graphic editors into the education and practice from...

The usage of CNC tooling kit in elementary education
MOJŽÍŠOVÁ, Denisa
The bachelor thesis deals with the general concepts of CNC stands, their functions and basic division. Here you will find a chapter on the G code that the CNC machine performs. It also explains how to work with LiteFire, grblControl and describes how the Inkscape text editor works. In the second part are elaborated five individual tasks, which are focused on closer acquaintance with CNC machine. These tasks are intended for pupils of the second level of primary school. At the end of this work, all five tasks are elaborated, step by step.
Materials for teaching vector graphics with the Inkscape tool
TAKÁCS, František
The aim of this work is to create a set of illustrated tasks for teaching vector graphics in elementary schools. The current textbooks dealing with this type of graphics are focused primarily on the use of the products such as Callisto and Corel which were commercial software when this work was assigned, therefore this work focuses on the creation of the teaching materials for the open-source product Inkscape. The main outcome of these tasks are vector images with a file containing the assignments for individual tasks. In case of not finding an Inkscape tool corresponding to the Callisto tool, with which work the textbooks that are used to create the tasks in Inkscape, the work proposes a possibility of replacing the tool with a different one. Furthermore, the work deals with the issue whether it is possible to convert vector images between the mentioned products directly or by using other products for working with vector images.
